How to: Save Your Map in Google Maps1. Open Windows Notepad. 2. Copy the contents of the box under "KML Code" below your map. 3. Paste in Notepad. 4. Save as mymapfile.kml or some other name with the "kml" extension. 5. Create a Google account or Login. 6. Go to Google Maps and navigate to "My Maps". 7. Click Create a New Map. 8. Click import and browse for the file you saved with the "kml" extention. 9. Click "Upload from File". 10. Enjoy |
